Job Responsibilities:
Assist in expanding the client base and shipping routes.
Assist in market analysis and information gathering.
Assist in chartering activities, including booking ships and cargo.
Assist the Chartering Manager and company executives in client meetings and business trips.
Negotiate charter party terms, ensuring that major terms of the contracts are free of significant risks.
Budget voyage income and expenses, and review voyage results.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or higher in International Shipping Management, Maritime Law, Nautical Science, or related fields.
Experience in handling bulk cargo or general cargo operations or chartering business, with over 3 years of operational experience and/or over 6 months of chartering experience; experience as an OPERATOR or BROKER is preferred.
Familiar with shipping routes and cargo types, and knowledgeable about VC, TC, TCT chartering business models.
Preference for candidates with the ability to develop new cargo types, routes, and vessel types.
